A native of North Carolina, Dr. Rose first found a love for New Orleans when he attended Tulane University, where he received his bachelor’s degree. He performed HIV vaccine research for several years outside Washington DC and during this time completed a master’s degree. Dr. Rose decided to make the move from the laboratory into veterinary medicine and graduated from veterinary school at the University of Pennsylvania in 2009. He primarily worked as an emergency clinician before partnering with Drs. Chris and Alex Baudy at Paris Road Animal Hospital. In his spare time, Dr. Rose enjoys gardening, home improvement, and spending time with his family.

Dr. Christopher Baudy is the co-owner and Regional Chief of Staff of Paris Road Animal Hospital. He is a native of New Orleans, LA, where he graduated from St. Augustine High School. After St. Augustine Dr. Chris went on to Tuskegee University and attained a bachelor’s degree with honors in Animal Science with a minor in Biology. He then went on to attend Veterinary School at Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine where he met his wife Dr. Alexandrea Baudy. He graduated in 2011 and went on to practice small animal medicine and emergency medicine. Dr. Chris has worked as an Emergency Veterinarian, at the Veterinary Emergency Referral Group in Houston for 3 years and Medvet Emergency and Cancer Center for 1 year. He enjoys spending time with his family and 3 dogs, range shooting, golfing, fishing, and working out.

Dr. Alexandrea Baudy is the co-owner and medical director of Paris Road Animal Hospital. She was born in Port Arthur, TX and as a child had many pets including dogs, hermit crabs , frogs and crickets. She attended Prairie View A&M University and graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelors degree in Biology in 2007. She then went on to attend Veterinary School at Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine where she met her husband Dr. Christopher Baudy. She graduated #2 in her class and Magna Cum Laude in 2011. She then completed a rigorous 1 year rotating small animal internship at Blue Pearl Veterinary Partners in Tampa, Florida. After completion, she and her husband moved to Friendswood, TX. She worked for 3 years at VCA Southwest Freeway and then moved to New Orleans with her husband and 2 daughters where she worked at Banfield Pet Hospital for 7 months before purchasing her first clinic with her husband Dr. Chris. She enjoys spending time with her family and 3 dogs, baking and decorating cakes, working out, reading and going to church.

I have been in St. Bernard Parish for 29 years. I have been with the hospital for 11 years, but have worked in the veterinary world for 25 years total. My interest, I would have to say, are animals both large and small.

Danielle was born and raised in beautiful Beaufort, SC. She moved here to be close to family in 2013 and has enjoyed learning the ‘Louisiana ways’. Danielle has been in the veterinary field for over 11 years and has enjoyed every minute of it. She is the “crazy cat mother” to eight wonderful cats and one spoiled dachshund/Russell mix. She enjoys spending time with friends and family. She loves being outdoors and enjoying the simple pleasures of life. “Helping the innocent, voiceless, companions give me instant gratification that makes my heart full. “

Heather was born and raised in Beaufort, SC. She was in the US Navy for 6 years before moving to Louisiana. She is currently enrolled in Rasmussen College majoring in Human Services. Her hobbies include: spending free time with friends and family and her very spoiled dog Dobby.
